Have you Ever Visit Taman Mini?
Blogging, Jakarta, around the city, indonesia No Comments »Taman Mini is face of Indonesia, you can visit every Indonesian province in one place. This park officially open in 1975. Taman Mini located in East Jakarta. In the middle of Taman Mini you may see the lake drawing the landscape of Indonesia
But, i regret when the management of Taman Mini did not pay attention on their website. The website, altough have two language but mostly written in Bahasa Indonesia. Please you can not attract foreign visitor if you have no detail on your website. In their website i could not find the entrance fee to Taman Mini. Even for Indonesian like me, the website have no detail on how to get there.
When I visit Taman Mini, the entrance fee quite cheap, but if you enter any spot but the Anjungan Daerah, you must pay another entrance fee in each. Actually, you would pay at least Rp. 500.000 or USD 60 if you enter Taman Mini and enter in each spot. For Indonesian people, it is quite expensive.
So I guess Taman Mini website should put some Information including the price so i can decide if I wanna go to Taman Mini
No Parking Please
Blogging, Others, Places, Think, around the city No Comments »Everytime when I am travelling into my office, I usually get to Jl. H. Agus Salim. I just wondering, there are so many car parking under the sign of no park. I know there are some school and also a church, but when so many car park, there would be a traffic jam around the street. It takes like almost 15 - 30 minutes to get trough the H. Agus Salim street.
But sometimes I see one or two police officer standing next to the school, and they did not do anything even anyone can clearly see that many car already park under the no park sign. So my question are, why they put no park sign when no body really obey the no park sign?
Just remember, many car that park under the no park sign is a very expensive car, I think they belong to the high class society and must be well educated also. I just think, that since the kid already see that their parent did not obey the law, why they should obey the law?
Gee, I do afraid what to happened in the future

Blogging, Jakarta, Just Information, Places Tagged Monas No Comments »
What would you do in every saturday? are you going to the mall or are there any spesific activities that you always do in the weekend? I propose you to visit Monas or the National Monument.
Monas is one of the Jakarta Landmark, it is located rights in the heart of Jakarta in Medan Merdeka Square. You can visit Monas or you just can sit and enjoy relatively fresh air at the square. If you go to Monas and enter the monument, especially if you want to go to the top, you must prepare at least Rp. 20.000 or less than USD 2.5/person. First for the entrance fee to Monas Square and the second the entrance fee to the top of Monas.
Monas is devided into three section, the first section you can see the diorama of the nation’s history, the second section you can sit and hear the voice of Soekarno when he declared the nation’s independence. The last section is the top it self. When you are at the top, you can see most part of Jakarta, and you can see also the air pollution.
So please consider the environment, I and you do not wish Jakarta become the most polluted city in world-kan?
Take your time in Monas Guy
