Contemplating the Oath Youth

Blogging, Just Information No Comments »
Today, we are commemorating the II Indonesian Youth Congress, which produces the phenomenal Youth Oath. In that Congress and then introduce the national anthem Indonesia Raya. However, whether the nationality or nation called Indonesia has been? So it is another question, I know that for long time that being raise is the Indonesian Sentiment and not the Indonesia nationalism.
Since the 1959 - 1998, the people in this country are governed by a power that presumptuous and anti-criticism and have been systematically destroying the modern constitutional state, which would be built since 1955 through a Constitutional Assembly. In addition, many things have been forgotten or are diminished role in the history of Indonesian independence struggle.
Many people forget that the first time using the name and proclaim the independence of Indonesia is the Indonesian Communist Party and also Perhimpunan Indonesia.
However, the role of PKI leaders such as Alimin, Semaun, Tan Malaka and even disappeared from history books of Indonesia. Independence struggle launch by PKI in 1926 in our history called as rebellion. The question is rebellion to whom? At that time, the Indonesian government has not established that there is only the Dutch East Indies government. And there are many more that we forget the history, because history teaches that only the “army whose struggle” for the independence of Indonesia
Now, Youth Oath should be a moment not to forget our glorious history and reinforce our sense of nationalism and reduce Indonesian sentiment. Youth Oath also should become a moment to strengthen the diversity of each of the communities living in Indonesia.

Have you Ever Visit Taman Mini?

Blogging, Jakarta, around the city, indonesia No Comments »

Taman Mini is face of Indonesia, you can visit every Indonesian province in one place. This park officially open in 1975. Taman Mini located in East Jakarta. In the middle of Taman Mini you may see the lake drawing the landscape of Indonesia

But, i regret when the management of Taman Mini did not pay attention on their website. The website, altough have two language but mostly written in Bahasa Indonesia. Please you can not attract foreign visitor if you have no detail on your website. In their website i could not find the entrance fee to Taman Mini. Even for Indonesian like me, the website have no detail on how to get there.

When I visit Taman Mini, the entrance fee quite cheap, but if you enter any spot but the Anjungan Daerah, you must pay another entrance fee in each. Actually, you would pay at least Rp. 500.000 or USD 60 if you enter Taman Mini and enter in each spot. For Indonesian people, it is quite expensive.

So I guess Taman Mini website should put some Information including the price so i can decide if I wanna go to Taman Mini

No Parking Please

Blogging, Others, Places, Think, around the city No Comments »

Everytime when I am travelling into my office, I usually get to Jl. H. Agus Salim. I just wondering, there are so many car parking under the sign of no park. I know there are some school and also a church, but when so many car park, there would be a traffic jam around the street. It takes like almost 15 - 30 minutes to get trough the H. Agus Salim street.

But sometimes I see one or two police officer standing next to the school, and they did not do anything even anyone can clearly see that many car already park under the no park sign. So my question are, why they put no park sign when no body really obey the no park sign?

Just remember, many car that park under the no park sign is a very expensive car, I think they belong to the high class society and must be well educated also. I just think, that since the kid already see that their parent did not obey the law, why they should obey the law?

Gee, I do afraid what to happened in the future :(

Tangerang Need to Change

Blogging, Just Information, Places No Comments »
Like any other city in Indonesia, Tangerang growing rapidly as a base for industrial and business since the city has a strategic position because located near Jakarta. But Tangerang nowadays also rapidly changes in environment protection issues. Many cars and motorbike go to Jakarta from Tangerang in office days and create air pollution. The other problem facing by Tangerang people is flood that now become more frequent each year
These problems should have more attention from local government and also the local parliament, since Tangerang had also loosing more and more lake and green spaces I believe the city has a city plan and also enacted in the local regulation. But it is hard to executing the law, because it is easy also to change the law to meet the needs of the local authorities.
The local authorities also failed to improve the quality of services in public transportation. The more comfortable one is the electric train, but it is also expensive and can’t reach the whole population of Tangerang.
So the important question are “would Tangerang be better in the near future?” and “how do we participate to create a better Tangerang for all?”

Indonesia Bloger Need to Setup Arbritration Council of Blogger

Think, things to do No Comments »
According to the new Indonesian Cyber Law, if a dispute occurs between bloggers they may bring the case before the court. But i do think that those kind of dispute will be settled before the court, it would be exhausting and will invite hostilities between bloggers. And also will provide danger if it comes to criminal suit.

I think it is good to think to set up Arbitration Council of Bloggers to settled conflict between bloggers and it will minimize damaging impact if someone want to use criminal action

Road Damages and the Rights of Road Users

things to do No Comments »
I am amazed when I saw the news about the action of the motorcycle rider who demanded improvement of roads condition in Jakarta. This action is should be supported I think, because the condition of the damaged roads will lead to losses for others. This not only applies to the motorcycle rider, but also for other vehicles such as cars or Auto rickshaw.

The damaged roads will lead to economic losses, because the length of time and also the damage that may arise from a vehicle passing through because the roads are damage. Besides the most is the possibility that the accident occurred due to the roads damages.

For the motorcycle rider, street in the Jakarta like a wild forest, I have twice experienced the threat of forest wild street in Jakarta. Therefore, I support the action of the biker, even if their efforts will make the law I will support wholeheartedly. We already pay the taxes, why there are still many damages roads!

Saturday in Monas

Blogging, Jakarta, Just Information, Places  Tagged No Comments »

What would you do in every saturday? are you going to the mall or are there any spesific activities that you always do in the weekend? I propose you to visit Monas or the National Monument.

Monas is one of the Jakarta Landmark, it is located rights in the heart of Jakarta in Medan Merdeka Square. You can visit Monas or you just can sit and enjoy relatively fresh air at the square. If you go to Monas and enter the monument, especially if you want to go to the top, you must prepare at least Rp. 20.000 or less than USD 2.5/person. First for the entrance fee to Monas Square and the second the entrance fee to the top of Monas.

Monas is devided into three section, the first section you can see the diorama of the nation’s history, the second section you can sit and hear the voice of Soekarno when he declared the nation’s independence. The last section is the top it self. When you are at the top, you can see most part of Jakarta, and you can see also the air pollution.

So please consider the environment, I and you do not wish Jakarta become the most polluted city in world-kan?

Take your time in Monas Guy
